Have you been interested in trying yoga, but experience some difficulty in moving from the floor to standing and vice versa? Would you be more comfortable trying yoga while seated in a chair? If yes, then this class is for you.
Instructor Mary Dugan will guide you through beginning yoga poses in a friendly, approachable, & sometimes humorous style of practicing yoga in a chair.
Oftentimes, students who practice chair yoga on a regular basis find their strength, flexibility, and even stamina increasing over time.
Students will also learn about breathing techniques, guided meditation, and the foundational principles of yoga. No yoga experience is necessary.
